FAQs

What makes Pinnacle Learning Center different?
We are a small and innovative group of educators. As a privately held company, we are not restricted by any corporate rules etc. Thus, Pinnacle Learning is able to use whatever means necessary to help your child improve. We pay close attention to learning style and are fanatical about providing motivation, encouragement and all the tools necessary to build confidence!

Who is going to be working with my child?
Our staff is comprised of MA certified teachers and some specialists (both undergraduate and graduate) from Harvard University, M.I.T. and other local colleges and universities. Our tutors are specially trained to make learning fun and rewarding, as well as serving as positive role models for our students. Most of our teachers must have a minimum of 5-7 years in the classroom and we have a rigorous training program for our tutors. Teachers only instruct in their trained fields.

What is your track record and success rate?
Pinnacle Learning has operated since 2002, and it has established a successful track record with many of its students. In both SAT preparation as well as academic tutoring, the results have helped us grow by word-of-mouth referrals. We are quite comfortable to tell any prospective parents to feel free to come into our waiting area at our center on any afternoon and ask any parent about their level of satisfaction for their child’s progress.

What is a typical increase for your students who follow your SAT preparation program? For students who complete the full course and do all of the homework, an average of over 100 points per section is their reward (300 points total). Many perform even higher! Remember, this is not a chance occurrence– it takes hard work and a lot of practice to achieve these results.

Does Pinnacle Learning Center have a certain philosophy and methodology about education? Education must be fun in order for children to learn effectively and efficiently. It is Pinnacle Learning’s philosophy to engage students in their work and to show them why they are doing what they are doing. We encourage a hands-on approach to studying.

Do you offer services year round? Yes. Skill building sessions and test-prep courses are available 12 months a year.
