No Child Left Behind at Pinnacle

Pinnacle Learning Center, located in the Village Shoppes in Canton, has received approval from the Massachusetts Department of Education to service Massachusetts school districts under the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB).

Pinnacle’s staff will begin working with local school districts beginning this summer to provide extra tutoring support.

“It is a great honor for us to be included on the list of qualified providers for this program,” said Steve Shapiro, Managing Director of Pinnacle Learning Center and a Milton resident. “This is further recognition about the quality of our programs and our alignment with the Massachusetts and federal standards. We appreciate the opportunity to help students from diverse backgrounds who may need a little extra individual attention to help them master the learning standards in reading, writing and/or math.”

Pinnacle Learning Center opened in 2002 and has served over 650 local area students since its inception. It collaborates with parents, schools, community organizations, and local educators to implement its research-based programs, which ensures that all children can become successful students by providing appropriate support, motivation and curriculum that is tailored to their individual needs. In addition to offering tutoring services year-round, Pinnacle also offers SAT and other test-prep courses, writer’s workshops, book clubs, and fun programs during summer and school vacations. Pinnacle serves students at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
